At Clementines we believe that every family deserves an amazing nanny, we know how important this hire is to you . Unlike the big agencies, our director Carmen Papa works with each family one-on-one to assist them in finding a quality nanny that matches their unique family, to that end we provide a bespoke service, our modest fees are fair and balanced against the time and effort we put in to finding the best fit for your family.
To start the process of finding you your nanny we require a non-refundable administration fee of R400, the administration fee covers:
• Family job description and advertisements
• Our thorough in person or video conferencing interview with nanny candidates
• Detailed candidate profiles with overview of work experience, education, skills, notes from interviews and reference checks and more.
• In depth childcare employment reference checks ( 2-3 references )
• Scheduling assistance for nanny interviews
Clarity. Most agencies charge a placement fee based on a percentage ( usually 8 -12% ) of the nanny's annual salaried income at the time of hire. We, however, are a small, personalized bespoke boutique agency built on relationships and trust. We want you to feel confident and secure that the information we are providing you regarding nanny salary expectations is truthful.
Our goal is to work with your unique family to assist you in finding a nanny that not only matches your family's need for excellent childcare but also one that fits your family's budget.
Once you have selected a nanny and an offer of employment has been extended and accepted, we move into the final phase of our screening process. A criminal background check will then be conducted. Thereafter, we will send you the employment contract, along with UIF and COIDA information, and guidance on how to register the candidate.
Our placement fee is payable once the criminal background report has been received and the candidate has been hired for a full-time permanent placement. Payment is due prior to the nanny’s start date.
